Returns & refunds

The plain-English version of what happens if something's not right.

Every item is custom-printed with your boat name when you order it, so we can't take it back if you simply change your mind. But we absolutely stand behind every order.

If the item arrives defective or wrong

If what you received doesn't match what you ordered — wrong color, wrong size, misprint, manufacturing defect, item missing from the package — that's on us. Email Support@boatnamemerch.com with your order number and a photo of the issue within 30 days of delivery. We'll reprint and reship at no charge.

If the package was damaged in transit

Take a photo of the package as it arrived (especially the outside of the mailer or box) and the damaged item. Email it to us within 14 days of delivery and we'll replace the damaged items at no charge.

If you're unhappy with the quality

If your item doesn't meet the standard you'd expect — visible defects, print quality issues, color shift, fit issues on apparel — contact us within 30 days of delivery. We'll either reprint, refund, or make it right in whatever way works for you.

If you changed your mind

Because every item is made-to-order with your boat name, we can't accept returns for buyer's-remorse or wrong-size-on-apparel cases. Please double-check sizing and your boat name spelling before checkout. If you catch a mistake within an hour of checkout, email us immediately — we may be able to stop production.

How to request a reprint or refund

  1. Email Support@boatnamemerch.com with your order number (BNM-#####) in the subject line.
  2. Tell us what happened, and attach 2–3 photos showing the issue.
  3. We'll reply within one business day with next steps.
  4. Refunds, when issued, are credited to the original payment method within 5–7 business days.
